Tien Giang: Special ferries to Cu Lao Loi Quan on drought days

In Tien Giang province, in recent days, on the Tan Long ferry wharf connecting the two banks of Cua Tieu river between Go Cong Tay district and Tan Phu Dong district, ferries have given special priority to take convoys to carry out the program "Gratitude Day". salinity drought" to Cu Lao Loi Quan, transporting a total of about 130m3 of fresh water for daily use, 300 barrels of pure water; about 90,000 bottles of mineral water; 250 gifts for households in difficult economic circumstances. All were transferred to 8 communes in Tan Phu Dong and Go Cong Dong districts.

Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, the Board of Directors of Tien Giang Provincial Police continued to organize the program "Gratitude on drought days" at 2 locations in Phu Tan commune and Phu Thanh commune, providing fresh water for domestic use. daily activities, drinking water and donated necessities to disadvantaged households in the three communes of Phu Tan, Phu Dong and Phu Thanh.

There are about 60m3 of fresh water for daily use, about 40,000 bottles of mineral water (500 ml type); 250 gifts (each worth 300,000 VND to help disadvantaged households) were delivered to 03 communes of Tan Phu Dong district and provided running water in 01 commune in Go Cong Dong district.

Provincial police mobilized 4 fire water pump trucks; 6 fire fighting water tankers were used to transport domestic water; 10 trucks of the Provincial Police; 12 tank trucks mobilized from transportation companies; 10 truckloads of bottled water production facilities; About 100 three-wheeled vehicles carry small water tanks and plastic cans to transport them onto narrow roads to serve the people.
