Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, the Board of Directors of Tien Giang Provincial Police continued to organize the program "Gratitude on drought days" at 2 locations in Phu Tan commune and Phu Thanh commune, providing fresh water for domestic use. daily activities, drinking water and donated necessities to disadvantaged households in the three communes of Phu Tan, Phu Dong and Phu Thanh. 

There are about 60m3 of fresh water for daily use, about 40,000 bottles of mineral water (500 ml type); 250 gifts (each worth 300,000 VND to help disadvantaged households) were delivered to 03 communes of Tan Phu Dong district and provided running water in 01 commune in Go Cong Dong district.

Along with raising the spirit and responsibility to respond to the program, organizations in the Provincial Police have organized and integrated propaganda activities, guiding people to cope with heat, drought, water shortage, etc. uphold the sense of responsibility to protect the environment. Organizations have organized practical activities to collect mineral water bottles, contributing to preventing plastic waste from being thrown into the environment. 

The program was launched by the Provincial Police Board of Directors and implemented among all officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police. The program's effects have spread to the compassionate hearts always oriented towards the community and society. Since then, there have been many individuals, agencies, and businesses in addition to actively participating in the program, creating more sharing power and being a strong source of encouragement and support so that the program's resources can reach the people. more.

By the afternoon of April 12, 2024, after 3 days of implementing the program, there were 150 officers and soldiers participating, the main units being: Party work and political work, Fire prevention and fighting police. and rescue, Mobile Police, My Tho City Police coordinate with a number of provincial and district professional units, Commune Police, and forces to protect security and order at the grassroots level. in 02 districts of Go Cong Dong and Tan Phu Dong. 

Provincial police mobilized 4 fire water pump trucks; 6 fire fighting water tankers were used to transport domestic water; 10 trucks of the Provincial Police; 12 tank trucks mobilized from transportation companies; 10 truckloads of bottled water production facilities; About 100 three-wheeled vehicles carry small water tanks and plastic cans to transport them onto narrow roads to serve the people.
